What to ExpectBelt Bootcamp is a 6-week intensive designed to help musical theatre performers build a stronger, healthier, and more reliable belt—without pushing, forcing, or sacrificing vocal health.
Each week, we’ll focus on a different piece of the belt puzzle, including breath support, vocal fold closure, resonance, twang, range extension, vowel modification, stamina, and stylistic application. You’ll move progressively from foundational technique into real musical theatre repertoire, giving you the opportunity to immediately apply what you’re learning.
Expect a combination of group instruction, guided vocal exercises, individual feedback, and repertoire coaching. You’ll learn how to identify tension, troubleshoot challenging notes, and develop strategies that work specifically for your voice.
By the end of the six weeks, you’ll have a stronger understanding of your belt, a personalized set of exercises and tools, and the confidence to take your technique into auditions, rehearsals, and performances.
Come ready to work, experiment, get loud, and—most importantly—build a belt that lasts.
